SunoのModelsとPromptsの比較実験(4)

概要
この実験は、7月に行った SunoのModelsとPromptsの比較実験(3) に関連して行ったものです。 そこでオリジナルモデル「nagasm5 (ノイズ系)」を削除して新しいモデル「nagasm9(実験的)」を作ったので、現在のオリジナルモデルは「nagasm3 (デスメタル臭)」・「nagasm6 (chaos Piano)」・「nagasm9(実験的)」の3種類となりました。
(モデル「nagasm3 (デスメタル臭)」とモデル「nagasm6 (chaos Piano)」の作り方については SunoのModelsとPromptsの比較実験 を、モデル「nagasm9(実験的)」の作り方については SunoのModelsとPromptsの比較実験(3) を参照して下さい)ここに、「生成音楽論2026」の第2週で学生が提出したうち、上の3件を題材として、3種類それぞれのpromptに対して、「v5.5 Pro」・「nagasm3 (デスメタル臭)」・「nagasm6 (chaos Piano)」・「nagasm9(実験的)」の4種類のモデルがどんな曲を生成するか、を試しました。

実験(1)の条件
- 「Instruments」を指定してVocal(歌詞)を排除した条件に統一
- 比べたモデルは「v5.5 Pro」・「nagasm3 (デスメタル臭)」・「nagasm6 (chaos Piano)」・「nagasm9(実験的)」

Result : Pentatonic Skyline 1 - Pentatonic Skyline 2v5.5Proでの「Pentatonic Skyline」(1min06sec, 1mon10sec)である。 けっこう短くて驚いたが、まぁ王道の「Stylish modern pop」というところで、ご機嫌な16beatで文句の付けようがないものの、これでPublishというのは無い。105BPMという指定に対しては、微妙にずれているものの、まぁ誤差範囲なのか。 こういうのは商業施設のBGMでどんどん使われていく(もう使われている?)のだろう。

Result : Piano Halo Drift 1 - Piano Halo Drift 2上はnagasm3(デスメタ臭)での「Piano Halo Drift」(0min49sec, 1min10sec)である。 Haloというのは過去にもあったが、調べてみると『英語の「halo」は主に「聖人などの頭の周りに描かれる光の輪（後光・光輪）」や「月や太陽の周りに見える光の輪（暈）」という意味で、日本語では「後光」「光輪」「ハロー（気象）」などと訳される』ということで、タイトルからして既に聖飢魔IIテイストが漂っていた。 v5.5Proでは無かったが、sunoの生成promptには「with a smooth laid-back groove」というのが加わったのが目新しい。 スタートは同じように始まるのだが、ちゃんと途中で重低音のキメがあってシャウトがあり、2曲目ではいつもの吠え声やシャウトが出てきて、ラストまでヘビメタってくれた。 当然のPublishである。

Result : Glass Arcade 1 - Glass Arcade 2上はnagasm6(カオス風味)での「Glass Arcade」(1miin10sec, 1min58sec)である。 スタートは同じように始まるのだが、こちらも同じようにちゃんと例の「カオスPiano」が入ってくれた。 sunoの生成promptには明示的に現れないようでも、ちゃんとモデルの生成元を生かしてくれるのだ。 2曲目では出てこないかな・・・と心配したら、途中に予告的にチラッち出て、ちゃんとラスト前にChaosで締めてくれたのは流石のsunoであり、当然のPublishとなった。

Result : Pentatonoic Skies 1 - Pentatonoic Skies 2上はnagasm9(実験的)の「Pentatonoic Skies」(1min00sec, 1min14sec)である。 このPOPSには出現が難しいのでは・・・という予想通りの結果となった。 ところどころに衝撃音/ノイズ的なテイストが出現するのだが、いまいち「デスメタ」・「カオス」には負ける感じである。 それでも最初のv5.5Proに比べれば、随分と「攻めた音」があり、これも捨てたものではない。 迷ったのだが、ここはPublishをグッと堪えた。
実験(2)の条件
- 「Instruments」を指定してVocal(歌詞)を排除した条件に統一
- 比べたモデルは「v5.5 Pro」・「nagasm3 (デスメタル臭)」・「nagasm6 (chaos Piano)」・「nagasm9(実験的)」
- Sunoのpromptは共通で、「Drum and bass, Polyrhythmic syncopation」とした
- このpromptで学生課題(30秒クリップ)として生成されたのはこれ
モデル : v5.5 Pro
すると、最初のv5.5Proの実験で、久しぶりに「2つの異なる曲」が生成された。 あまりにpromptが簡潔なので、sunoも迷って分岐したのかもしれない。 なんか、卵を割ったら2つの黄身があったみたいな、得した気分である。 そこで久しぶりに、2曲を分割して表記してみた。
タイトル : Polyrhythmic Pulse

Result : Polyrhythmic Pulse -上がその2つに分岐した一方の「Polyrhythmic Pulse」(duration : 3min35sec)であり、ただひたすら単調だった。 Instruments指定なのに、途中から謎のvocal(歌詞付き)まで出てきた。
タイトル : Offbeat Current
使用したモデル : v5.5 Pro
「Instruments」を指定

Result : Offbeat Current -上がその2つに分岐したもう一方の「Offbeat Current」(duration : 3min21sec)であり、こちらもInstrumental指定なのに最初からvoice(掛け声・合いの手)が出てきたが、歌詞のあるvocalでもなかった。 いずれもPublishするほどの曲ではない。

Result : Slipstream Grid 1 - Slipstream Grid 2上はnagasm3(デスメタ臭)モデルによる「Slipstream Grid」(duration : 2min47sec, 2min49sec)であり、v5.5の「声」は女声だったが、こちらで登場した「声」(シャウト)は男声だった。 全体として重低音が増えた感じもあり、やや不本意だがこれらはPublishした。

Result : Polyrhythm Pulse 1 - Polyrhythm Pulse 2上はnagasm9(実験的)モデルによる「Polyrhythm Pulse」(duration : 3min19sec, 7min59sec)である。 2曲目に例の「suno発狂?」と予感させる最大サイズの7min59secが出てきたのだが、途中で無音とかになることもなかった。 ただし、ビートが止まってボイス(合いの手)ソロみたいになったり、あれこれ形を変えつつ終わりが見えずに生成されていて、前半スキャット→後半vocal→ちゃんと続き、いつものように最後はエンディングも無くて突然にプチッと終わっていた。 一応、「人体の音」「笑い声」などなどオリジナルモデルの材料が感じられたので、両方ともPublishした。
実験(3)の条件

Result : Trombone Parade 1 - Trombone Parade 2上はv5.5Proモデルによる、その名も「Trombone Parade」(duration : 1min48sec, 2min01sec)である。 長さもかなり短くて、sunoは最大限に手抜きをしたような、ベタに普通の吹奏楽だった。 これだけ頑健に吹奏楽な音楽に対して、オリジナルモデルがそのテイストを反映できるのかどうか、この実験は見ものとなった。

Result : Crest Of Taps 1 - Crest Of Taps 2上はいよいよnagasm3(デスメタ臭)モデルによる「Crest Of Taps」(duration : 2min12sec, 1min55sec)であり、生成された時間が短いので淡白な結果なのかな・・・と心配した。 sunoの生成したpromptにもそういう記述は無い。 ところがなんと、重厚にスタートして、次第に重低音とギターが聞こえてきて、いつものシャウト登場・・・と、後半はしっかりデスメタになっていた。 いわば、新ジャンル「デスメタ吹奏楽」爆誕の瞬間に立ち会えたような気分となった。 これは文句なくPublishした。

Result : Crownstep Parade 1 - Crownstep Parade 2デスメタで期待以上だったのを受けて、上はnagasm6(カオス風味)モデルによる「Crownstep Parade」(duration : 1min52sec, 1min24sec)である。 こちらも短かったのだが、なんと1曲目は全然カオスが無い・・・と思ったら最後にガンガン出てきたのに対して、2曲目はカオス風味が全く出てこない、普通の陳腐な吹奏楽だった。 これは1曲目だけをPublishした。

Result : Trombone Parade 3 - Trombone Parade 4最後はnagasm9(実験的)モデルによるものだが、タイトルがv5.5Proと同じ「Trombone Parade」(duration : 2min11sec, 1min21sec)だったので、「3/4」とした。 タイトルで何となく「駄目」っぽい気がしていたが、案の定、ラストとかほんの一部に重低音があるもののほとんど無策の吹奏楽だった。 これではとてもPublishできない。
