For three days in September, the skies above Reno filled with a kaleidescope of color during the 17th Annual Great Reno Balloon Race. Some chose to relax on the grassy hillsides and watch the billowing giants take shape on the launch field below. Others walked through the canyons created by the enormous balloons as they inflated.
