The musical hybridization of the last decade in instrumentation, technique and aesthetics has exploded into a diversity of approach in live electronic musical practice, reflected in Amsterdam in the concert series of STEIM and the improvisation sessions of the Kraakgeluiden, among others.

STEIM presents a series of informal lectures and dialogues on tuesday evenings exploring the varied advances in extending the practice of electronic performance, with a particular focus on live electronic improvisation and composition.

Unless stated otherwise, all discussion is held in english and entrance is via Utrechtsedwarsstraat 134. Entrance is gratis.
